Kadamba Single-Malt Whisky has been named “Emerging Brand of the Year” by Ambrosia, Asia-Pacific’s leading spirits magazine. The award, presented at Indspirit 2025, highlights Kadamba’s growing influence in the global luxury spirits market.

This accolade celebrates not only the brand’s exceptional craftsmanship but also its deep-rooted connection to the Kadamba dynasty, a symbol of Goa’s golden era. The whisky, produced by The Cheers Group, undergoes a meticulous double-distillation process and is aged in bourbon sherry and virgin American oak casks, creating a complex, full-bodied flavour with tropical fruit and vanilla notes.

"Our team’s dedication to excellence is reflected in these awards," said Ashwin Balivada, CEO of Cheers Group, adding that their focus remains on redefining Indian single malts and sharing them with the world.

Beyond its Indspirit 2025 victory, Kadamba has also secured gold medals at major international whisky competitions and won the Best Indian Single Malt Whisky title. Additionally, its elegant bottle design was named Global Winner for Best Indian Single-Malt Bottle Design. Cheers Group, valued at Rs 800 crores, has over 120 brands, including Three Monkeys Single-Malt and Labrodog Premium Scotch.

As global spirits giants seek stakes in India’s fast-growing whisky sector, the group’s success highlights the rising stature of Indian luxury whiskies.

As whisky enthusiasts prepare to celebrate International Whisky Day on March 27, Kadamba stands as a testament to India’s growing reputation for producing world-class single malts.
